About
I'm Ra'chelle Hedgespeth — a licensed massage therapist with a background in dance, kinesiology, and trauma-informed care. My path to bodywork wasn't conventional. It started on the dance floor, where I first learned that the body is both instrument and archive — carrying not just tension, but stories, rhythms, and memory.
That foundation in movement, combined with formal study in kinesiology, gave me a rare lens: I don't just feel where your pain is — I understand why it's there. How your movement patterns, your stress responses, and your daily demands converge into the tension you're carrying right now.
I specialize in working with artists, performers, and athletes — people who push their bodies to extraordinary limits and need someone who truly understands what that demands. My work is integrative, intentional, and deeply body-aware. Every session is shaped by what your body is telling me.

Services
Every session begins with listening. From there, I draw on a range of techniques to give your body exactly what it needs — no templates, no routines, just responsive care.
Philosophy
Whether you're a vocalist, dancer, drummer, or athlete — your body is your primary tool. It absorbs impact, produces power, and carries emotion. Wellness isn't separate from performance; it's the foundation. When your body is aligned, regulated, and cared for, everything you do on stage gets sharper, more sustainable, and more alive.
Massage is often treated as a luxury or a quick fix. I see it differently. True bodywork is a dialogue — between therapist and client, between tension and release, between the nervous system's fight-or-flight state and its capacity to rest and recover. My role isn't just to press where it hurts. It's to help your body remember what balance feels like.
The body stores what the mind tries to move past. My trauma-informed approach means I work with awareness, consent, and deep respect for what your body has been through. Healing isn't just physical — it's about creating a space where the nervous system feels safe enough to release, recalibrate, and restore itself. That's what my table is for.
"My clients don't just feel good — they move better, breathe deeper, and last longer."
